K-Nevada Gateway 2025 Links Korean Startups to Reno Tech Hub and U.S. Market Growth – ngopihangat

Reno, Nevada is fast becoming the U.S. West Coast’s next tech powerhouse — and Korean startups now have a direct gateway in. K-Nevada Gateway 2025 connects innovators to Reno’s thriving ecosystem, San Francisco’s global networks, and the CES 2026 stage, offering a clear path to U.S. market growth.

Korean Startups Gain a New Gateway to the U.S. West Coast Innovation Ecosystem

Four Korean organizations — Genaxis, Pacemakers, Mission Law Firm, and MedionTech — are partnering with major Nevada institutions to launch K-Nevada Gateway 2025, a structured platform for Korean startups to build long-term footholds in the U.S. market.

The initiative brings together:

  • University of Nevada’s Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship,
  • Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR),
  • Desert Research Institute (DRI), and
  • Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN).

These partners will connect Korean innovators directly to Reno’s fast-growing tech hub and the broader U.S. West Coast business network.

K-Nevada Gateway 2025: Built for Sustained Global Expansion

Running October 5–10, 2025 in Reno, Nevada and San Francisco, the six-day, five-night program will select up to 10 technology-driven startups in AI, energy, medical, beauty, and entertainment tech.

K-Nevada Gateway 2025 is structured as more than a short-term market-entry visit. Participating startups will join the Nevada K-Startup Investment Club, gaining:

  • Regular updates on Nevada’s technology trends
  • Structured post-program follow-up
  • Mentoring support
  • Investor introductions

This will be complemented by dedicated mentoring, legal and visa consulting, and tailored business matchmaking that continues after the program to sustain long-term growth.

Strategic Exposure via CES 2026 FutureTech

One of the program’s signature opportunities is presentation access at the CES 2026 FutureTech Conference, organized by Nevada DRI, MedionTech, and K-EnterTechHub.

This conference attracts investors and corporate decision-makers from Nevada and across the Americas, providing a credible platform to showcase technology and secure partnerships.

The itinerary also includes an FAA-approved Urban Air Mobility (UAM) test site visit, a tour of Tesla’s Gigafactory, and multiple 1:1 meetings with venture capitalists, economic development officials, and corporate partners.

Why Reno Is Emerging as a Global Tech Landing Point

Reno has transformed into one of the fastest-growing tech hubs in the U.S. West. Over the past five years, more than 2,000 tech companies — including Tesla, Google, Apple, and Microsoft — have relocated or expanded there from California. The city’s business-friendly environment offers no state income tax, comparatively low corporate tax rates, and operational costs up to 30% lower than Silicon Valley.

Its innovation ecosystem is anchored by the University of Nevada, NCAR, DRI, and the Ozmen Center, with EDAWN actively attracting startups and facilitating connections to investors. The Greater Reno–Sparks–Tahoe region hosts a diverse industry base spanning advanced manufacturing, logistics, renewable energy, fintech, aerospace, and health tech — creating multiple entry points for Korean startups.

Strengthening Korea–U.S. Startup Ecosystem Links

By embedding Korean startups in Reno and San Francisco innovation ecosystems, K-Nevada Gateway 2025 builds a two-way bridge between Korea’s tech talent and the U.S. West Coast’s capital, market, and R&D resources.

The combination of Reno’s emerging tech hub, San Francisco’s global network, and the deep expertise of the program’s host and partner institutions creates an ecosystem-level opportunity for sustained international growth.
