Ulsan ICT Promotion and Gwangwon Agencies Achieve Major Success at IFA 2024, Securing $26 Million in Export Consultations – ngopihangat

IFA 2024, held in Berlin, is the largest consumer electronics exhibition in Europe and is regarded alongside CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas and MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona. The agencies set up a joint pavilion at the IFA NEXT hall, where innovation-driven companies conducted programs such as IR pitching and venture capital consulting, bringing significant energy to the event.

Ulsan ICT Companies Shine at IFA 2024

Eight companies from Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency participated in IFA 2024, also achieving notable success in the global market. UYeG Co., Ltd. showcased a predictive maintenance system for industrial facilities, designed to prevent accidents and breakdowns through current monitoring. With 31 consultations, the company secured a $6 million contract and an MOU for global service expansion in partnership with Vision Space, which specializes in AI virtual model technology.

PD Technologies Co., Ltd. introduced an AI-based acoustic emission underground pipe leak detection solution, signing contracts worth $23,500 through 29 consultations. The company also signed an MOU with a British firm specializing in ship container loading optimization, marking an important step towards global market entry. This innovative leak detection solution received significant attention for its potential to improve safety in plants and urban infrastructure by detecting underground pipe leaks in real time.

Jang Byeong-tae, Director of the Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency, emphasized the significance of these achievements: “Participation in IFA 2024 has allowed Ulsan ICT companies to showcase their technological prowess on the global stage. The agreements signed and contracts secured at this event demonstrate their competitiveness and will create wider opportunities in the global market. We will continue to support Ulsan companies in their overseas growth efforts.”

Gangwon’s Success at IFA 2024

Three companies from Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province participated, showcasing cutting-edge digital innovations. Drone Makers Aviation Co., Ltd. developed an indoor mission drone with a VR simulator, using a self-developed physical engine based on Unity, simulating real drone flight characteristics. This versatile technology has applications in various fields, resulting in three MOUs for cooperation, including drone academy education and smart farming solutions.

Hahomed introduced a unique skin stimulation device with an application that tracks product usage and skin improvement. The product drew significant interest from digital healthcare buyers, leading to concrete export negotiations, including a visit from a major UK investment firm, discussing a potential $500,000 export contract.

DataFlow Co., Ltd. presented Zaranamo, an AI-based hair loss diagnosis platform combined with three functional shampoos certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for hair loss mitigation. The company attracted investment consultations, securing approximately $7 million in export deals.
